Waterford Music was founded in June 1942 for the promotion of chamber music, supporting local artists and inviting distinguished artists from worldwide to perform at The Dr Mary Strangman Large Room, City Hall.
List of 2026 Concerts
We are pleased to announce our programme of concerts for Autumn 2026. All concerts will take place in the Dr Mary Strangman Large Room at 7.30pm (unless otherwise stated).
- Friday 11 September – Killian Browne Jazz Quintet. This performance will take place in the Theatre Royal. In association with Symphony Club of Waterford.
- Thursday 24th September – Frasier Hickland (piano,) Seán Tester (tenor,)
- Thursday 8th October – Billy O’Brien (piano) with Guest Alexandra Keane
- Thursday 22nd October – Esposito Quartet. In association with National String Quartet Foundation
- Friday 13th November – Cheng Squared Duo, Bryan Cheng, cello, and Silvie Cheng, pianist
- Fri 27th November – Musici Trio. Ioana Petcu-Colan (violin,) Beth McNinch (viola,) and Vourneen Ryan (flute). This concert is in association with Music Network and takes place in the Edmund Rice Heritage Centre.
