Amatis Trio perform for Waterford Music

The Amatis Piano Trio is regarded as one of the leading trio ensembles of its generation. This is an international trio, featuring Lea Hausmann from Germany, Sam Shepherd from the UK and Mengjie Han from The Netherlands. These three musicians have been performing together since they were founded in Amsterdam 10 years ago, and they have performed in 43 countries.

The Trio has won many awards, including the ECHO (European Concert Halls Association) Rising Star award and the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist Award. It has featured at some of the premier events of the classical music world, including the BBC Proms and the Edinburgh National Festival. The three musicians are currently musicians in residence at Cambridge University.

Amatis Piano Trio will perform a programme of romantic classics from well-loved composers like Haydn and Liszt.
