As part of its ongoing successful collaborations with Music Network, Waterford Music is hosting a concert that offers an unusual but pleasing blend of harp and soprano. Emmanuel Ceysson, one of the world’s leading harpists, will perform with rising soprano star Sarah Shine. Both have stellar track records as international performers. Ceysson has held principal positions at the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera and Opéra de Paris, while Sarah Shine has performed with Irish National Opera, Académie Opéra National de Paris, Wexford Festival Opera and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
The due will bring you a programme that is reflects Ceysson’s French roots, with pieces from Debussy, Fauré, Tournier, Caplet and Vierne. You will also hear Music Network’s latest commission, from Anne Marie O’Farrell.
