For our second Music Network concert of the Spring 2025 season, Waterford Music brings you an exciting and versatile classical guitarist from Brazil, Plínio Fernandes. Plínio blends traditional classical guitar sounds with the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian folk music.
Plínio is a chart-topping guitarist; his debut album Saudade topped the Billboard Traditional Classical Albums Chart and he is a regular collaborator with highly acclaimed artists such as Lang Lang and Sheku Kanneh-Mason. He has performed in concert halls around the world, including renowned venues such as London’s Royal Albert Hall and Radio City Music Hall in New York. He made his BBC Proms debut in 2024.
