About The Piatti Quartet
The Piatti Quartet is based in King’s Place, London, but has performed throughout the world since winning the International String Quartet Competition at Wigmore Hall in 2015. Its repertoire focuses on contemporary music, and the musicians are passionate about promoting quartet repertoire. The Piattis regularly commission works for string quartets, so they can create a legacy of new compositions. They have built up a wide discography of albums and they also collaborate with top classical musicians including St Martin’s Voices, Julius Drake and Barry Douglas.
